The Board reached over 700 survivors of FGM during the 2024 International Day of Zero Tolerance for FGM to enhance the 2024 theme of investing in survivors led movements to end FGM. The Board established survivors’ network in Marsabit, Nyamira, Bomet, Elgeyo-Marakwet, Tharaka-Nithi, Kajiado and Meru Counties. The cpacity of survivors has also been enhanced on the existing government affirmative action funds such as uwezo fund, Hurler Fund and Women Enterprise fund. This is in Line with the Government Agenda on BETA.
